About Crystalynn
I am a mom of two teenage boys, who has always had a knack for all things math and an learned passion for blowing things up. I have done after school tutoring for 6 years now, and have been homeschooling my kids for the past three years, when my son with ADHD began struggling with school. I have refreshed most of my education in order to be sure to teach them everything they need to know, and anything they may want to know. I have also taken courses to learn how to best relate to students from all different learning styles and continue to further my education in order to continue to learn new things and to stay up to date with California Common Core requirements.

My teaching method differs from student to student based on their academic needs and their learning style. As I mentioned, I have a son with ADHD and have to turn his learning experiences into games and have to read the information from text he may need to know to him instead of allowing him to get off on a million different tangents by having him read it. Since it is difficult to keep his attention, we do mostly project based learning so that he can actually associate what he is learning to real life experiences.
