Hello! I’m Aarav, a dedicated and results-driven high school senior with a 4.0 GPA, a 1560 SAT score, and a strong background in advanced math, physics, and computer science. I’m an AIME qualifier, a certified ML student through Inspirit AI, and have completed data science coursework with Purdue University. With over 80 hours of peer tutoring experience at Stevenson High School, I’ve helped students build confidence and excel in subjects like Algebra, Precalculus, AP Physics, and Programming. My teaching approach is clear, supportive, and tailored to each student’s unique learning style. As a tutor, I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation through a student-centered, step-by-step approach. I tailor each session to the learner’s pace, using real-world examples and visual explanations to make abstract ideas in math, physics, and coding more accessible and easy to understand.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of prior material, followed by guided practice on new concepts. I then walk students through challenging problems, encourage them to think critically, and end with a recap and targeted practice recommendations.
What sets me apart is my experience as both a high-performing student (4.0 GPA, 1560 SAT, AIME qualifier) and a peer tutor with over 80 hours of volunteer teaching. I know how to explain difficult topics in a way that clicks for other students because I’ve been in their shoes.
