About Adelynn
When I first picked up the clarinet, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Like everyone who does this, I had to struggle a lot in order to make real progress. Eventually, I started seventh grade with the basics under my belt, and I participated in something called solo and ensemble. Playing the Stars and Strips Forever, this was my very first solo, and I received a superior rating. This gave me the confidence boost I needed, and I started getting into honors bands in the following two years. In fact, I have multiple auditions coming up. Ultimately, anyone can do great things musically, but first you have to get through the most difficult part of your entire journey: the beginning. You never stop growing, but it gets easier to grow after the first stages.

With young musicians, the level of instruction varies. My lessons will be tailored to the individual. However, an average lesson would include basic music theory, technique and any other questions or struggles that I can help with.
While I have plenty of experience, I am no professional. Just someone who knows what it was like to pick up an instrument for the first time.
