About Frank
Hi! I am an experienced high school of 28 years. I am formerly Nationally Board certified. I have worked on school vertical teams where my focus was to ensure that students understood how the Algebra builds into Pre-Calculus and Calculus.
I have worked at two schools, one being a low-performing one and the other high-performing. Both groups had high levels of math-anxiety and I do my best to recognize that, honor those feelings, and find ways to alleviate them. Math is doable for all, we just have to find the right path for each person.

To help understand the content, I will usually refer to previous skills and hone in on mastery and/or improvement in those. Usually error analysis is a part of that.
As a tutor a focus on previous skills as well as where the topic is headed (as in future classes) is a part of what I try to impart with anyone.
I have experience in working with students who are struggling in math, are focusing on a particular assessment, and/or are preparing for the SAT or ACT.
