My teaching philosophy as a facilitator is to work hard and help my students be successful. I am aware that a lot of my students fear mathematics and some of concepts might seem challenging at times. I believe that when my students can discuss and apply the knowledge that is gained in a classroom setting to the real world, students can learn to understand and appreciate the material being presented. When they learn to apply their knowledge, it helps ease the anxiety that they have been feeling. Guiding students to see how math is used in their everyday lives is important. I like to challenge students to demonstrate their knowledge by finding applicable situations.
