The common myth among the students these days is that to study a subject is to make notes, mug up the formulas, and then sit for 18-20 hrs a day for best results. Actually I had a teacher who taught me that nothingis needed, what needed is just observation and knowing the basics, I had another teacher who taught me that its all the gane of hardwork, when you start finding it all around you then you won't even know and you would be learning for 24 hrs a day as we all know nature is the best teacher what needed is just to know to learn from nature.
