About Mieszko

I am in the second year of secondary school and currently preparing for the Polish Physics Olympiad. I would gladly earn a little money from teaching, yet I could just as readily teach for the sheer pleasure of it. Following the reasoning of the Feynman method, teaching is always a mutual intellectual benefit rather than a mere transfer of knowledge, which is of course an additional incentive for me.

I have mastered a considerable part of the material covered by a bachelor’s degree in physics. I understand everything I study, and have the necessary mathematical foundations readily at hand. I am perfectly capable of preparing a student for an examination, yet my real aim is to cultivate in them the manner of thinking characteristic of a physicist.

The physicist’s way of thinking is valuable in a great many fields. Physics is a science with an exceptionally broad repertoire of investigative methods, for it teaches one how to approach and solve a wide variety of problems rather than merely how to apply a fixed collection of formulas.

As an additional convenience, my notes are well organized, and I shall be glad to share them. I have some experience in teaching, though most of it has thus far been unpaid.

SMS should work too, and I shall presumably answer eventually, although the present state of my telephone does not entirely support this assertion.

About the lesson

I teach via Feynman's and the Socratic methods; I aim for mutual didactics - not solely the translation of knowledge, yet the path to intelligence via your own reasoning.

I am a participant in the Polish Physics Olympiad and comprehend the academic level of the first and the second year, however, I do not yet have a diploma of any kind. I take great joy from teaching and studying every bit and mote of the universe by which we are permanently surrounded. I know English, as you see, Polish as a native speaker; German as an Einwohner, Linguam Latīnam as the language in which I think; and Attic Greek as the language which I intensely study.

I am available in Lublin in Poland, but chiefly online. I am a man of science before money, thus the rather low price of anything above 7 dollars per hour.
