About Katie
No experience as a paid tutor though has volunteered to help many peers with homework and classwork at school. Overall weighted gpa of 3.8. Algebra 2 semester grades were both As and was able to maintain a 3.5+ gpa in Pre-calc. Currently holds an A+ in Calculus AB. Proficient in arithmetic operations.

As a high school student myself, I prefer to teach elementary and middle school kids, though I am willing to help high schoolers in Algebra 2 or Pre-Calculus. I’m patient and can offer a variety of ways to solving a problem. I let the student explain what they know and don’t know and use that knowledge to determine what they need my help on. If I cannot immediately provide an answer to their question, I will get back to them as soon as possible so that they may fully comprehend their work.
