About Taryn
I am a senior in high school and have tutored kids since I was in seventh grade.
I know full well the pressure that can accumulate when you don't know how to do something, whether it be reading or math. It was hard on me, and it is hard on others who go through the same things that I have.
Luckily for me, my parents took me to a program that helped me hone my math and reading skills. I now volunteer there tutoring students like me.
When I tutor, I like to build bonds with my students because with these bonds, they trust me more and feel more confident to ask for help.
I know that learning can be hard, which is why I like to make my lessons fun and engaging.
