About FINES
I am an examiner and properly qualified teacher/ tutor with massive experience in delivering the national curriculum , I take myself to the level of students and once there, i pull them up to my level. The minimum grade i tolerate is a 7. I have 2 degrees in Science (Chemistry, Physics and Biology), i also have BSc hons in Maths and Statistics which makes me very comfortable to handle both Maths and all the 3 sciences. I am also currently studying part-time for my MBA in finance with Anglia Ruskin University.
I have 15 year experience of teaching and delivering the Maths and Science. My tutoring/ teaching focuses only on the specifications of the National curriculum. I have been told by my students that my tutoring is simple, precise and straight to the point.
To enhance my knowledge of the national curriculum, i took an extra responsibility of marking GCSE final exams. This gives me an understanding of what to teach and how to teach it. I can pride myself that since 2009 i have not recorded a failure. I offer both physical 1-2-1 tutions and online-tutoring using scribblar software. This is very good for parents who are very busy and have limited time to be at home waiting for a tutor to turn up. Skype for audio purposes is integrated in the scribblar soft ware hence learning feels like your have a tutor with you face to face as we will be talking to each other. The computer screen acts as a white board where we write stuff with a special wacom pen. Please get in touch to arrange your first lesson.
I possess a great deal of patience and am able to tailor tuition to the requirements/requests of each individual. This could be with regards to the pace or length of the sessions, use, or not, of colour/diagrams instead of some of the long winded theoretical explanations and usage of many examples relevant to the particular examination/course. I also have the vital ability of being able to express complicated mathematical concepts into a more everyday, user friendly manner for the benefit of the learners.
