About Andrew
Throughout my teaching career, I have consistently received an overall student rating of very good/ excellent in teaching. Over 90% of my students consistently pass their exams. I believe that if a student fails then either the Tutor is poor or the student is poor. I wouldn't want to be known as the poor Tutor so I do all I can to help a student and the outcome of my students bear me out.

I have successfully taught and mentored over 2,500 students (Primary to Undergraduate) in my 7+ years in academia. Subjects I have taught in Business Studies include Units 1 to 6 for GCSE and Project Management, Strategic Management, Business Operations, Entrepreneurship, and Monitoring and Evaluation for Undergraduate level. I have also supervised over 200 undergraduate students undertaking research projects successfully.
I believe the most important aspect of a student's journey is for the student to know and see the value of what is being learnt. To see clearly, how the concepts, ideas, theories are related to real life. To link theory to practice. I am a hands on tutor and would use numerous examples, cases, projects that would highlight concepts, ideas, theories, etc. In fact, in most cases I teach 50% of the time and the remaining 50% of the time is for practice. I strongly believe that once a student is able to firmly link theory to practice, then I, as a tutor, would have done my job.
