About Daria
I have been teaching the flute for 15 years, working with High School, College students, and adults, and have successfully guided over 300 students. My teaching approach blends structured lessons with creative exercises and performance practice to ensure that students improve technically while enjoying the learning process.
I focus on tone, technique, rhythm, music theory, and expressive playing while tailoring lessons to each student’s abilities and goals. I encourage students to perform in recitals, competitions, and school or college events to build confidence and gain practical experience.
Many of my students have achieved significant milestones, reflecting both their dedication and the guidance I provide. My teaching philosophy centres on creating a positive, inspiring, and motivating environment where students can grow musically, develop discipline, and nurture a lifelong love for music.

My teaching methodology for flute is designed to make learning engaging, practical, and meaningful for each student. I emphasise motivation as a key factor, inspiring students to explore their creativity and develop a lifelong love for music.
I encourage problem-solving by guiding students through challenges in technique, rhythm, and expression, helping them build confidence and independence. Integrity is central to my approach, ensuring honesty, discipline, and respect in all aspects of learning. I also practise flexibility, adapting lessons to each student’s pace, interests, and learning style.
My sessions are interactive, practical, and structured around each student’s goals, whether for exams, performances, or personal growth. While I specialise in flute, I am also capable of teaching related music theory and foundational concepts that support a student’s overall musical development.
Through this method, I aim to not only teach flute but also nurture critical thinking, creativity, and self-expression, making every lesson a step toward mastery and enjoyment of music.
