About Shrelock
With 10 years of experience in teaching and working in music education, I am a dedicated flute tutor committed to helping students from school to college level achieve their goals. Music has always been a deep passion for me, and teaching allows me to share that passion in a meaningful way.
Over the years, I have guided many students through their musical journey, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence in their abilities. A major milestone in my career has been preparing students for performances and competitions, where they have successfully showcased their skills.
My teaching approach is structured yet flexible, focusing on fundamentals such as proper breathing, posture, finger technique, and tone clarity. I also encourage students to explore creativity and enjoy the process of learning.
I believe that learning music is not just about technical skills but also about developing patience, focus, and self-expression. My aim is to create a supportive and positive learning environment where students feel motivated to grow and achieve their full potential.

I use a student-centred teaching methodology based on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to make flute learning simple and enjoyable. I believe that every student can succeed with proper guidance and practice. I start by understanding the student’s learning style and comfort level so I can adapt my teaching accordingly.
I motivate students by appreciating their efforts and encouraging regular practice, which helps them stay confident.
Communication plays a key role in my teaching, as I explain breathing techniques, fingering, and tone production in an easy way. With integrity, I ensure students learn step by step and build strong fundamentals. I guide them patiently and provide honest feedback.
Creativity allows me to design engaging lessons with songs, exercises, and fun activities. In addition to flute, I also teach music basics like rhythm, scales, and listening skills to support overall development.
