About Lola
With 15 years of teaching and professional experience, I am a committed Piano tutor who enjoys guiding students through their musical journey. I teach piano to school and college students and focus on creating a positive learning environment.
One meaningful milestone in my career was understanding the importance of personalised lessons. This approach helped many students learn comfortably and progress with confidence.
My lessons focus on technique, rhythm, coordination, and music reading. I also encourage students to express emotion through music and enjoy what they play.
I believe piano learning helps students build confidence, focus, and discipline. Many of my students developed strong practice habits and self-confidence through music.
My teaching style is supportive, patient, and motivating. My goal is to help students enjoy piano learning and feel proud of their achievements.

I emphasise communication, ensuring that techniques, rhythm, and music theory are explained clearly and applied effectively, so students can progress confidently at their own pace.
To make lessons engaging, I use real-life examples and case studies, such as exploring favourite songs, analysing classical compositions, or examining music in movies and daily life.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, and beginner composition, giving students a comprehensive understanding of music.
My methodology fosters technical skill, creative expression, and performance confidence, helping students develop a lifelong love for piano and music in general.
