About Atima

Atima Nayyar has been performing on the stage for over 15 years and bagged numerous awards in the field of Indian classical and Bollywood music. Voice of Chandigarh Atima, has appeared on leading TV channels like Zee TV and lent her voice in various music albums. Her songs are available on all major music streaming platforms such as - Amazon music, Apple Music, Spotify etc.
Yoga anthem fame Atima, in a very short span of time, has established herself amongst Delhi Music fraternity as lead female singer rendering melodious songs of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle.
Atima also has been teaching Indian music for over 5 years to students from all over the globe.
Recently having moved to Canada, her latest performances include corporate and social events in GTA and British Columbia as well.

Atima Nayyar is trained in Indian Classical Vocal music by late Smt. Dr. Rama Sharma ji.
She is at the Visharadh level stage of her formal education from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. She has also completed the advanced vocal music module from T-Series Stageworks Academy. Further she also has an exposure of vocal training from
Bhatkhande music school. She continued to pursue Music Hons from the esteemed Delhi University. She has also recently completed a comprehensive course in music production and sound engineering from one of India’s premier music production schools, Beatfactory.

She has performed at various state & national level platforms and bagged numerous prizes in competitions organised pan India. She was adjudged “Voice of Chandigarh” in 2011. Her performances have been telecasted on Zee Tv(Little Champs), DD National,
ETC Punjabi & Shakti Channels. She has lent her voice in a few bhajan albums and recently, she launched “Yoga Anthem” with renowned X-Factor Fame Mr. Vishal Shrivastav, which achieved over a million views from all over the world.

She has performed in many corporate events, and also mentored many music enthusiasts working in these corporates. She recently played the role of a guide, judge and organiser in the annual national talent fiesta organised by Apollo Munich Health Insurance chain for its employees pan India.

She is a professional and continues to perform in select gatherings.

Atima has a teaching experience of more than 3 years with students of all age groups. She teaches both Indian classical vocal music and light/Bollywood music to students in India and abroad (Australia, New Zealand, USA, Singapore, UK, Dubai, Qatar, Italy etc). Being a music producer and playback vocalist herself, she also shares techniques of karaoke and live singing in her classes. She teaches through both face to face and online modes. Lately, she has also been holding online riyaaz sessions for working
professionals.

Her passion towards music led to her starting up new ventures in the field of event management and audio recording. During Covid times also, Atima continued to perform online for various organisers on different platforms.

About the lesson

Focus on Conceptual clarity and basics building. Voice training, Classical basics. Bollywood and light music training and recording techniques also shared during classes. Monthly assessments and live performances with groups. Karaoke singing sessions to prepare for live performances. Hindi and English songs, and also few other languages songs.
