About Alicia
My degree requires me to write essays on a daily basis and I am yet to start my PGCE next year, to get into teaching history after I graduate. I previously helped my younger sister prepare for the Withington entrance exam, to which she successfully passed along with a couple of other students I have tutored (all in secondary school).

I will look at the subject specification and highlight the key topics and work from there with the student enabling them to understand what they are marked on. There will be a lot of repetition, because practice makes perfect! Students and I work through past exam papers to help students prepare and this allows them to know how to answer the questions efficiently. I like to cater to the individual, using a learning technique that suits them best, while also setting homework to prepare for the next lesson.
