We spend time on electric technique and complex rhythm work to build your confidence. My 13 years of playing Latin guitar influence how I approach melodic phrasing and dynamics.
We move through various scales and modes to broaden your technical reach. Acoustic practice remains a pillar for developing tone and proper hand strength. Chord transitions become smooth through repetition and focused drills. I prioritize ear training so you can internalize the music you hear.
We tackle grade exam requirements with a structured approach. I genuinely enjoy watching students find their unique voice on the instrument."

"Completing a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Music from AIM gave me the foundational tools to navigate the fretboard with precision. Teaching across 13 years has allowed me to refine my approach for performance focused students.
I frequently guide advanced learners through complex electric technique and intricate music theory concepts. Getting power chords and scales or modes to sit correctly is where I spend much of my time. My focus extends to acoustic technique and essential maintenance like tuning and setup.
I work with grade exam candidates to ensure their barre chords and chord transitions are flawless. Lead guitar phrasing and ear training are areas I emphasize during our sessions. Helping you play with authentic groove is simply what I do."
