About Suvi

I am originally from Hong Kong and am currently studying a Bachelor of Psychology (Honors) at The University of Queensland. I am an outgoing, approachable, and communicative person who enjoys connecting with people from different backgrounds. In my free time, I enjoy playing badminton and drawing, as both activities help me stay creative and maintain a balanced lifestyle.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I strive to create a supportive, encouraging, and respectful learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. Although I am at the beginning of my tutoring journey, I have experience helping students understand challenging concepts and explaining ideas in a clear and patient manner. I am committed to being well-prepared for every lesson, providing personalized guidance, and helping students build confidence in their abilities while achieving their academic and language learning goals.

About the lesson

My lessons typically last between 1 and 2 hours and are tailored to each student's learning goals, pace, and ability. I use a patient, supportive, and interactive teaching approach, breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations while encouraging students to ask questions and build confidence. Although I do not have formal tutoring experience, I have previously taught and supported students with their learning, which has strengthened my communication and teaching skills. My lessons are suitable for anyone interested in learning Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin, if applicable), as well as students seeking assistance with Psychology or English. I aim to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel motivated to improve and achieve their academic goals.
