About Emery
Hi I’m Emery! I am currently a junior in high school. Throughout my high school career, I have pushed myself to take many rigorous courses both AP and honors. I truly enjoy challenging myself and I have a strong belief in the importance of education. Last year I became captain of my school’s dance team and it made me realize my skill and enjoyment of instructing others. Though my academic journey looks great on paper, I know firsthand how mentally draining school can be. It is important to me that mental health and happiness come first before schoolwork. If this is a concern for you or your child, I will work diligently to help them in a conscientious way.

Subjects I tutor (not limited to): * Middle level English, math, and sciences. * Algebra 1 & Geometry. A typical lesson: 1. We will discuss where your biggest problem areas are. 2. Together we will work on a plan to get you where you need/want to be. 3. Then we will spend most of our time diving straight into schoolwork. I will help go over areas the teacher may have missed and give you some examples/problems when needed.
