About Crystal

Math and science are my two favorite subjects, and I have always been a math whiz, so I'm more than happy to help students better understand the subject as well as become a little more excited about science. I also want the students I tutor to feel more confident and comfortable in themselves, especially in the subjects they may struggle in more.

About the lesson

I have only privately tutored one person, but I have helped various students at my school. I prefer interactive sessions, so I demonstrate a few problems while explaining it, and then I'll allow the student to complete a few on their own. I first ask what the student is struggling with most, and then I'll ask what they already know. I start with the first thing they don't understand, and I go on from there. I primarily tutor middle schoolers and freshman students. I have either scored a perfect score or a high A on all of my EOCs, and I have also been in Gifted classes for all of my education.
