About Erik
Hi! I’m a physics and math tutor with over five years of experience helping students understand tough concepts in a way that actually makes sense. I know these subjects can seem intimidating at first—but with the right explanations (and a little humor), they can be surprisingly fun. I also run a YouTube channel called SpideyPhysics, where I break down tricky topics into short (sometimes pretty long), engaging videos. My goal is to make learning feel approachable, whether we’re diving into Newton’s laws or tackling tricky integrals. What you can expect from me is patience, clarity, and a lighthearted but focused approach. I take your learning seriously, and I’m always happy to adapt my style to what works best for you. Whether you're preparing for exams, catching up in class, or just want to finally “get” physics and math—I’ve got you. Let’s make this make sense, together.

Studying physics and math can feel overwhelming at first because the concepts are abstract and often unfamiliar. My approach as a tutor is to break down these complex ideas into small, digestible steps that build up a strong foundation of understanding. I emphasize intuitive learning through real-life analogies, visual explanations, and lots of practice problems that reinforce theory with application.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing the student’s current understanding and identifying any gaps. From there, I guide them through new material using a step-by-step approach, encouraging questions and interaction. I end the session with recap questions or a short quiz to solidify what we’ve covered.
What sets me apart is my ability to adapt my teaching style to the individual student’s pace and learning style, whether they're visual learners, logical thinkers, or hands-on problem solvers. I’ve studied and tutored math and physics for over a decade, and I bring a deep appreciation for the subjects and a lot of patience to each session.
My lessons are suited for high school and undergraduate students, particularly those in science or engineering programs, or anyone preparing for standardized tests that include math and physics.
