About Abigail
"Dusty pickin' parties in the American South remain my clearest memory of music. I started by listening to older players in humid rooms. My degree from Belmont University solidified that early ear training.
Teaching acoustic technique has been my life for 13 years. I work mostly with intermediate learners and working professionals. Guitar is a language.
Fingerpicking requires a soft touch. Practice creates the path."

"You reach a point where barre chords feel like second nature. It happens gradually, almost without notice.
My lessons focus on ear training and solid chord transitions. I use a practice module with every lesson to keep momentum. This ensures you do not stall between our meetings. Reading tabs is secondary to finding the sound.
Playing by ear is the goal. I enjoy seeing students find their own voice on the fretboard. It is a slow, rewarding process. Let us get started."
