About Xavier
Dusty chalkboards and the sharp scent of a lab environment define my initial approach to teaching physics. My career began with a PhD in Statistics from Stanford University before I spent 13 years navigating the complexities of the tech industry. I work primarily with working professionals, adults, and exam-level students who need to grasp electricity and magnetism or circuit analysis. These topics demand a structured mindset.
My background allows me to simplify derivations and formulas that often confuse students. I am a firm believer in the power of graph interpretation as a core skill for any physicist. My instruction focuses on your ability to think through problems independently. I offer a consistent, rigorous style that emphasizes conceptual learning above rote memorization.

Pacing is everything. I provide weekly numerical problem sets with worked solutions to ensure you maintain momentum. My background in industry and my PhD in Statistics influence how I teach unit measurements and complex modern physics. You will find that my focus is on identifying the physical principles before touching a calculator.
This method prepares you for the high stakes of JEE, NEET, or Olympiad exams by building a foundation of logic. I keep my feedback direct and strictly aligned with your specific technical goals. We address the math behind the physics as the primary hurdle.
