About Sharifah Rajia Aleya
"I want to teach because I believe in the transformative power of education. It has the ability to shape lives, open minds, and provide opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable. As someone who is passionate about both ICT and Chemistry, I see teaching as a way to combine my interests and share my knowledge in a way that helps students understand complex subjects and connect them to the world around them. What excites me most about teaching is the opportunity to inspire curiosity and critical thinking in young minds. Both ICT and Chemistry are fields that shape modern society and can seem intimidating at first, but I’ve seen firsthand how a little encouragement, the right tools, and a supportive environment can help students not only understand but truly enjoy the subjects. Additionally, teaching offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact. I want to create a classroom where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and developing the skills they need to be confident problem-solvers in both the classroom and the world. I aim to instill a sense of confidence and self-belief in my students, showing them that with dedication and the right mindset, they can achieve anything."

Objective: Understand basic principles of chemical reactions (e.g., types of reactions, conservation of mass). Use ICT tools to model and simulate chemical reactions. Develop skills in using software and online tools to visualize and analyze chemical processes. Materials: ICT Tools: Computers/tablets, internet access, and chemistry simulation software (e.g., PhET, ChemSketch, or ChemLab). Chemistry Materials: Interactive whiteboard, videos demonstrating real-world chemical reactions, and virtual lab resources. Worksheets: Questions and exercises based on the simulations.
