About Vera
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with 10 years of teaching experience, working with high school students, college students, and adult learners. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 300 students, guiding them through different stages of their musical journey.
My teaching philosophy is based on clear communication, understanding, and motivation. I believe learning piano should be enjoyable as well as structured. I design lessons that are easy to understand, goal-oriented, and tailored to the individual needs of each student.
I focus on developing strong fundamentals such as hand position, finger movement, rhythm accuracy, and music theory. I also help students apply these skills to real songs and pieces, making learning practical and rewarding. I encourage regular practice while supporting students through challenges.
One of my proudest achievements is helping students build confidence in their playing abilities. Many learners who started with little or no experience have made impressive progress under my guidance. I also enjoy teaching adults who want to learn piano as a hobby or return to music after a break.
My mission as a tutor is to create a positive learning space where students feel motivated, confident, and inspired. I strive to help every learner grow musically and enjoy a lifelong connection with piano.

My teaching approach for piano is simple, flexible, and practical. I focus on strong communication to ensure students clearly understand every concept. Lessons are adjusted according to each student’s learning style, pace, and musical interest, making learning enjoyable and effective.
I use real-life examples, familiar tunes, and case studies from music performances to help students connect theory with practice. This method allows students to see how piano skills are used in real situations. I encourage active participation and regular practice to build confidence and consistency.
Along with piano playing, I teach supporting subjects such as music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm control, chord progressions, and basic improvisation. These skills help students become well-rounded musicians rather than just note readers.
My goal is to guide students towards musical independence, creativity, and long-term love for piano learning.
