About Surina
I am currently a 2nd Year Medical Student at Imperial College London.
Having recently gone through the Medical School admissions process myself, I am confident that I will be able to provide assistance in all aspects of the process, from UCAT and BMAT admissions tests to the personal statement and interviews themselves.
I achieved high scores in both admissions tests, and obtained offers from all 3 medical interviews I was invited to - experiencing both MMI and Traditional Panel interviews.
During my time at Sixth Form, I was the Senior Prefect of UCAS and Careers, where I was able to demonstrate my knowledge of the admissions processes for universities, and apply this in order to help my peers. Through this role I also spoke to many university representatives, which further broadened my understanding.

My approach to teaching is to be fun and engaging, yet professional, by using unique techniques and methods to deliver difficult concepts across to students.
I am extremely passionate about my studies, and this is reflected in my teaching.
For UKCAT and BMAT tutoring, my main focus would be on aiding the student with as many practice questions as possible, as this is the key to success in these admissions tests. We would also look at tricks and techniques which would enable the student to work through these highly time-pressured tests at a much faster rate.
For the personal statement and interview preparation, I would meticulously analyse the student's current personal statement and work hard to get it to a high standard that happily meets the demands of the universities the student will be applying to. I would also carry out mock interviews with the student and give my techniques on how to best prepare for the different types of interviews that medical schools currently offer.
