About Reid
Hello! I am a recent graduate of DePauw University with a degree in Global French Studies. Ever since I was young I've had a passion for French culture and language, and it's something I hope to continue to teach to the next generation. I have around 2 years of cumulative experience in French instruction and translation, having served as a cadet teacher in high school and a private tutor in college.

I have yet to pursue my master's in French Instruction, but I am comfortable instructing from elementary levels to advanced topics courses that extend beyond the study of just the language. I use a student-centered approach with personalized lesson plans and inquiry-based learning techniques in order to tailor each experience to each of my students. Group classes will find themselves working in teams often, as I often take a cooperative approach to learning.
