Is your child struggling with Information Technology (IT)? Are they not reaching their full potential in the subject? Don't give up yet! Over the past 8 years, I have tutored a variety of students, working with Home Based Education Facilities as well as private and public school students - with an outstanding track record. I utilize a problem-solving approach to teaching. I encourage my students to note any issues that they come across while studying/working through the material so that these can be focused on and addressed in our next session. I ensure that my students are able to fully understand concepts and solve any issues noted before moving on with the material. In a typical session, half the session will cover issues noted while self-studying (if any) and the other half will cover new and complex concepts. My scope of teaching covers everything, including the entire Delphi Programming Language (coding), Theory Work, IT Practicals, Test/Exam Preparations, and All Assignments. A lot of students are stressed out or dislike the subject because they do not fully understand it. I take pride in my teaching and I love to see students starting to love IT the further they learn, understand, and progress. Over the past 6 years, I have been tutoring online (way ahead of the pandemic!) and have almost perfected my teaching methods. All that is needed is a computer and an internet connection! I offer outstanding student support, flexible schedules, and affordable rates. *Limited weekly slots remaining

  • When did you develop an interest in technology? Could you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

I developed an interest in technology at a very young age. My family couldn't quite afford a computer back then so every other day, my friends and I would go to our local internet cafe, behind the school, to go and watch other people play games and when we could, play ourselves. These experiences sparked my fascination with technology and fuelled my desire to learn more.
  • What is the technological evolution that has marked you the most, and what do you believe will be a turning point in this field?

There's no specific technological evolution that comes to mind, instead it is the rate of technological advancements that fascinates me the most. To know that the smartphone I have in my hands is more powerful than a top of the range pc 20 years ago just blows my mind. I believe quantum computing will be the turning point of tech evolution and I think it is not too far from our reach.
  • Please share more about your speciality, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the field of technology.

My specialty is developing software, breaking/exploiting it and fixing it up again. The right skillset allows for virtually limitless creativity in creating applications. In today's world, software is the backbone of innovation, which in turn helps to improve our lives.
  • Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

My father is my role model. Although he is not a tech-visionary billionaire, he is an amazing, kind person and a great father. When I was growing up, he would teach me about how things worked (mechanical and electrical), which made me a very curious kid. At about 9 years old, I was already busy disassembling various household electronics to see how they worked (and putting them back together, with moderate success).
  • Could you share an anecdote related to your student days?

Back in high school, we had a pretty mediocre computer lab. Imagine a PC Box with a dated processor, 4 GB of RAM, split into 3/4 virtual machines terrible. I remember we were writing an IT coding Exam in Grade 11 and I made an infinite loop by accident, which crashed the entire PC… luckily, it was only my friend and I that experienced the crash. Although we did lose some work and time, we laughed it off and picked up right after.
  • What would you say to someone who is tech averse and uncomfortable in front of a screen?

I would tell them that technology is a tool designed to make life easier, and like any tool, it takes time, patience and practice to learn. Nobody is a lost cause when it comes to learning technology. If I can teach my 78 year old grandmother, that has never touched a computer before, how to use one, then you can do it too!
  • 7) Do you have any other passions - related or unrelated to computers and IT?

Yes! I love older, German cars - mainly from the 80's and 90's. I own a 1990 E Class. This is from back when the engineers had full creative control and made cars to the highest engineering spec possible. I also do all the work on my car by myself. Sometimes it's fun, sometimes it isn't but I love the process and learning along the way.
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof (one that artificial intelligence could never replace)?

What makes me a Superprof is my ability to connect with students on a personal level. I understand their unique learning needs and adapt my teaching methods accordingly. While AI can provide information and support, it cannot replicate the human touch, empathy, and encouragement that I bring to my tutoring sessions. My passion for teaching and my dedication to my students' success set me apart.
