About Francoise

Bonjour! I’m Françoise Gibbison, a native French tutor based in the UK since 1996. In 2012, I made a career switch from science to follow my passion for languages, earning a Certificate in Language Teaching to Adults from Goldsmiths, University of London. Since then, I’ve helped adults and teenagers gain confidence and succeed in French through interactive, flexible courses aligned with CEFR levels. I also create tailored resources for UK exams like Common Entrance and GCSE, ensuring lessons fit each learner’s goals and style. I teach both in person and online worldwide. To support learning beyond lessons, I’ve developed a growing library of 1,200+ video tutorials paired with learner and teacher packs—perfect for independent study or classroom use. As a language learner myself (currently learning Spanish!), I know first hand the challenges involved. That’s why empathy, enthusiasm, and encouragement are central to my teaching approach. I offer empathetic, tailored support for learners aged 11+, designed to build both skills and confidence. My online lessons are interactive, supportive, and built around your child’s specific needs and goals.
