About Anastasiya
Hello and welcome! I'm Anastasiya, and I'm delighted you're here.
Music has been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. As both a professional performer and an experienced educator, I have spent the past 15 years helping students of all ages discover the joy of making music and reach goals they once thought were beyond their ability.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the Belarusian State University of Culture and Arts and have taught internationally in Belarus and the United Arab Emirates. My professional journey has included performing as a symphony orchestra musician for eight years, working as a concertmaster for eleven years, organizing concerts and music events, and preparing students for performances and competitions at regional and international levels.
For the past five years, I have been teaching in the UAE. I previously taught Secondary Music at GEMS World Academy, delivering both the IB and British Curriculum, and I currently teach Secondary Music, preparing students for GCSE and A-Level Music. I am also a member of the Emirati Musicians' Association, which allows me to stay connected with the UAE's vibrant professional music community.
One of the most rewarding parts of my career is preparing students for internationally recognized music examinations. My students have achieved excellent results in ABRSM and MTB examinations, with many earning Distinction.
I teach piano and music theory to children, teenagers and adults, from complete beginners to advanced musicians. Whether you're learning your first notes, preparing for an exam, improving your musicianship, or simply rediscovering a love of music, lessons are tailored to your individual goals and pace.
I believe that music is much more than learning the correct notes—it's about developing confidence, creativity, discipline and self-expression. Every student brings something unique to the piano, and it's a privilege to be part of that musical journey.

Music is a journey, and every student follows a different path. Whether you're learning for enjoyment, working towards an exam, or developing your skills for school or performance, lessons are tailored to your individual goals, age and experience.
With a Bachelor's Degree in Music and 15 years of international teaching experience, I have worked with students from 4-year-old beginners to adults in a variety of educational settings. My experience includes preparing students for ABRSM, MTB, GCSE and A-Level Music, with many achieving Distinction results. Alongside teaching, my background as a concert pianist, symphony orchestra musician and current secondary music teacher brings practical performance experience into every lesson.
Lessons focus on developing well-rounded musicianship through a balanced combination of:
Piano technique and repertoire
Music Theory
Sight-reading
Aural skills and musical listening
Rhythm, coordination and expressive playing
Performance confidence and musical interpretation
Lessons are available in 30, 45 or 60-minute sessions, depending on the student's age, level and learning goals.
Students of all ages and abilities are welcome—from complete beginners discovering the piano for the first time to more experienced musicians looking to refine their skills or prepare for examinations.
Above all, I believe that music education should be engaging, encouraging and enjoyable. Every student learns differently, so lessons are adapted to individual learning styles and progress, creating a supportive environment where confidence and musical ability can grow naturally.
