About Anna
I am a passionate piano tutor with 11 years of experience teaching high school students, college students, and adults. I have taught nearly 300 students, helping them improve technical skills, musical understanding, and self-confidence.
My teaching philosophy is built on patience, adaptability, and encouragement. I believe learning piano should be enjoyable and goal-focused. I tailor lessons according to each student’s pace, goals, and interests to ensure steady progress.
In my classes, I emphasise hand technique, posture, rhythm, sight-reading, and music theory. I also help students understand musical expression so they can play with confidence. I use familiar songs and practical exercises to make lessons engaging.
A notable achievement is guiding beginners to become confident pianists and helping adults return to music after long breaks. Many students have shown impressive improvement through consistent guidance.
My goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel inspired to practice and enjoy the learning process.

In addition to piano skills, I teach music theory, chord structures, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, and basic harmony. Students also learn posture, finger technique, and regular practice habits. My aim is to help students grow into confident and expressive pianists.
