About Tymen
I do enjoy teaching, as it can be fun to creatively describe Math using intuitive approaches. Much of my experience teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses in Statistics and Math. For individuals - I have assisted individuals, and GED/SAT prep.

Tymen is a trustworthy teacher because he is very honest and sincere as a person and when teaching. He was my calculus tutor and did an amazing job explaining concepts to me that seemed impossible to understand. He is very patient and takes the time to understand where you are getting stuck. I was able to get an A in all my calculus classes because of his help. Im now working as a Nuclear engineer and would not be here without him. I learned so much from him!

Details
$40/hr is a baseline. If we have ongoing lessons - if I find that the student is committed to working harder on their own, and only needing my help in clarifying, or even asking my help to steer them to effective resources, I am willing to negotiate lower fees. This isn't my primary source of income. I do legitimately want to be the best resource. I enjoy teaching... some of this material can frighten a student away. But I am cognizant that I have had to face down each of these mathematical concepts... and would very much like to guide them and motivate them.
