About Tarun
Hello! I'm Tarun, Ireland's youngest International Master and currently the nation's top-ranked active chess player. Chess has been my passion and focus for over a decade, leading to significant achievements on the international stage. My motivation for teaching stems from a deep love for this beautiful and intricate game, coupled with the rewarding experience of witnessing others unlock their potential. Having benefited immensely from excellent coaching throughout my own development, I understand the profound impact a knowledgeable and dedicated mentor can have. I want to teach because I believe that the strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and mental resilience cultivated through chess are invaluable, extending far beyond the 64 squares. I share insights gleaned from my own journey as Ireland's youngest International Master and current No. 1 active player.

While I have experience advising Grandmasters and International Masters, I am equally passionate about nurturing talent at all levels.
