Review
All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the teacher's students.
Perfect! Ivor spent the lesson tactfully assessing my current knowledge level and then we discussed what areas I might find the most useful to explore in theory lessons. I am satisfied that he plans to teach me what will suit my purposes best. I’m very pleased to have found him.

Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
Ivor has been such a positive influence on my violin and music theory journey. He is patient, encouraging, and empowering in his teaching method. I have been given a great amount of agency to work through issues but at the same time been supported throughout.
I wholeheartedly recommend Ivor :)Ivor has been teaching our 7-year-old daughter to play the viola for 9 months now – and we couldn't wish for a better teacher! From the very beginning, he has managed to get her enthusiastic about the instrument with his patient, humorous, and at the same time, very knowledgeable manner.
The lessons are wonderfully varied: in addition to teaching playing technique and actual music-making, Ivor regularly incorporates rhythm exercises and ear-training tasks. This creative approach is not only great fun for our daughter, but also promotes her musical understanding in a playful way.
Our daughter enjoys going to lessons every week and has made amazing progress in this comparatively short time – both technically and musically. It is particularly nice to see how much she has developed her love of music through Ivor's lessons.
We are very grateful that Ivor has introduced our daughter to music in such an inspiring way and can recommend him without reservation.Lessons are well structured and systematic, giving excellent progress and most importantly, are fun.
