About James
I am a political science major at Franklin and Marshall College with a focus on constitutional law. I, like you, am a student too, who has also been through that moment where you can't decide what answer is necessarily "the best" or the ruling of that one case you can't for the life of you remember in the syllabus. I've been there, and I can help you, one student to another. I am offering my services to help students taking AP U.S. Government and Politics, AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition, and AP U.S. History. My goal is to help you achieve a solid grade, score fives on the exams, and present the information in a clear and engaging way. My lesson plans are unique to the student I am tutoring. It's my philosophy that learning often comes in different forms for every student, and I'm happy to adapt. If you want a lecture, I can write a lecture and present it for you, I can design practice tests, and I can even hold a debate with you to test your knowledge or to apply the information. I can do whatever you need to help you learn best for you, the student. My goal in this is to help my students discover a study method that works best for them. At the end of the day, there are no bad students to me, just inexperienced study tools and habits. I want my lessons to be collaborative, not just informative and that is the key distinction that is absolutely necessary to note from a teacher and a tutor.
