About Hashim
Hi, I’m Hashim, a medical student at James Cook University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. I have a strong passion for Math and Science and enjoy helping students feel more confident in subjects they may find challenging. I am patient, approachable and committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Having studied both university-level science and mathematics, I understand the importance of building strong foundations and developing effective problem-solving skills. I work with students of different ages and abilities and tailor my approach to help each student achieve their academic goals.

My lessons are interactive, personalised and focused on genuine understanding rather than memorisation. I use clear explanations, worked examples, guided practice and targeted questions to help students build confidence. I am a JCU medical student with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, and I tutor highschool and university students in Maths, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry. Lessons can be tailored to individual learning needs, including exam preparation, assignments and difficult concepts.
