About Karl

Hi, I'm Karl, a final-year Biological and Biomedical Sciences student at Trinity College Dublin with a passion for helping students reach their academic potential. Having achieved 580 points in the Leaving Certificate, I understand firsthand the challenges of preparing for exams and balancing multiple subjects. This experience allows me to relate to students and provide practical, effective strategies that work.

I tutor Mathematics, Biology, Economics, Business, and Science at both Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate level. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to build their confidence and develop strong study habits that will benefit them throughout their education.

Alongside my academic background, I have extensive experience working with young people through coaching roles, including Leinster Rugby summer camps, as well as tutoring classmates and serving as a teaching assistant in college. These experiences have strengthened my communication skills and taught me how to explain challenging concepts in a clear, patient, and engaging manner.
Every student learns differently, which is why I tailor my lessons to suit individual needs and learning styles. Whether you're aiming for top grades, need help understanding difficult topics, or simply want to feel more confident in class, I am committed to providing supportive, professional, and results-focused tutoring.
I offer both online and in-person lessons and look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is tailored to each student's individual needs, learning style, and goals. I focus on building confidence while improving academic performance through structured, exam-focused lessons. Having completed the Leaving Certificate myself and achieved 580 points, I understand the challenges students face and the most effective strategies for success.

Lessons typically range from 40 minutes to 2 hours depending on students needs and learning style.

I have extensive coaching experience working with young people through Leinster Rugby summer camps. These experiences have helped me develop strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to explain complex topics in a clear and engaging way.

My lessons are designed for Junior Cycle and Leaving Certificate students studying Mathematics, Biology, Economics, Business, and Science. I work with students of all abilities, whether they are aiming to improve grades, prepare for exams, strengthen their understanding of difficult topics, or build confidence in their academic abilities.

Lessons are available both online and in person, providing flexibility to suit each student's preferences and schedule.
