About Betsy
Teaching Piano allows me to combine my passion for music with my love for teaching. With 16 years of experience guiding college students, I focus on creating lessons that are enjoyable, organized, and tailored to individual learning needs.
My teaching approach is friendly and encouraging. I explain every lesson using simple English and practical demonstrations, helping students understand musical concepts without confusion. I believe confidence grows through steady learning and consistent practice.
I use innovative teaching techniques including digital learning platforms, rhythm exercises, ear training, keyboard drills, and creative performance activities. These methods make learning enjoyable while strengthening technical skills.
Students improve note reading, scales, chords, finger techniques, posture, rhythm, and expressive playing. I provide personalized guidance and practical feedback that helps students continue progressing with confidence.

My approach to teaching piano is based on patience, practical learning, and continuous encouragement. Every student is different, so I adapt my teaching methods to suit their strengths, interests, and learning speed.
Real-life examples help students understand difficult topics in a simple way. I explain rhythm through everyday experiences and teach music theory using familiar songs. Practical case studies show students how musical concepts are used during performances and practice sessions.
Understanding is one of the most important parts of my teaching. I explain every concept carefully and encourage students to ask questions. Lessons move at a comfortable pace so students build confidence without feeling overwhelmed.
Communication creates a positive classroom atmosphere. I give clear demonstrations, regular feedback, and practical home practice plans. Students always know what to work on before the next lesson.
