About Yoojin

Hi, my name is Yoojin and I’m a dedicated English tutor with a passion for helping students discover their potential through language. I’m a graduate of King’s College London, where I studied Liberal Arts—a program that allowed me to explore a wide range of subjects and develop a deep appreciation for the power of language and communication.

Teaching has always been more than just a job for me; it’s a calling. From my early days working with young learners to my experience guiding adults through complex language challenges, I’ve seen firsthand how mastering English can open doors, build confidence, and transform lives. This is why I teach - I want to be part of that journey, helping each student find their voice and achieve their goals.

About the lesson

As a graduate of King’s College London with a degree in Liberal Arts, I bring a rich and diverse educational background to my tutoring sessions. With years of experience teaching English to students aged 2-17 at a language center and providing ESL instruction for adults, I have developed a deep understanding of how to connect with learners of all ages. My qualifications include CELTA certification, and I specialize in guiding students through 11 Plus, GCSE English Literature and Language, and IELTS preparation.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student is unique, and so should be their learning journey. I tailor my approach to fit your individual needs, learning style, and goals. Whether you’re looking to improve your English skills, excel in exams, or simply gain more confidence in using the language, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
