About Tumi
I am an experienced piano tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience. I work with school students, college learners, and professionals who want to learn piano in a structured and enjoyable way.
My teaching approach is simple and student-focused. I believe in strong communication, patience, and consistency. I design lessons based on each student’s needs and help them progress step by step. I make sure students feel confident and motivated throughout their learning journey.
In addition to piano, I teach music theory, rhythm exercises, and ear training. These help students understand music deeply and improve their playing skills. I also include fun activities and songs to keep learning interesting.
My strength lies in creating easy methods to understand complex ideas. I help students build discipline, improve technique, and develop a regular practice routine. I also guide them in performing with confidence.
I aim to provide a positive and encouraging learning environment. My goal is to help students enjoy music and achieve their full potential in piano.

Through open and ongoing communication, I understand each student’s goals, interests, and challenges, allowing me to design lessons that are meaningful, motivating, and tailored to their learning style.
Creativity is central to my approach. I encourage students to improvise, experiment with musical ideas, and even compose their own pieces, helping them develop a personal voice in music. Flexibility ensures that lessons are adapted to the student’s pace, preferences, and skill level, making learning both enjoyable and effective.
Alongside piano, I teach related subjects such as music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic approach strengthens technical proficiency while enhancing musical understanding and expressive ability. My aim is to nurture confident, skilled, and passionate musicians who enjoy learning, performing, and exploring music for life.
