About Pablo

"Pablo’s unique methodology provides a great balance of free-flowing conversation and structure." This is a review from a Superprof student (check below) which I believe describes me very well: I am creative, practical and reliable.

Moreover, I have encountered or even lived in diverse environments (Kenya, France, London, Taiwan). This is one of the reasons why I am able to speak 5 languages fluently.

In possession of 2 BA (Linguistics and Translation), I believe it is of utmost importance to simplify the acquisition of a second language and connecting with students. Below the certificates I possess:

o Certified TEFL TESOL teacher.
o Bachelor’s Degree in English Linguistics and Literature o Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Intercultural Communication
o Chinese HSK 5 o French DALF B2

My over 5 years teaching experience is as follows:

o Freelance Teacher and Interpreter, Chinese translator and Chinese Medical interpreter (Currently)
o Chinese Teacher at Educasystem (2021-Currently) Preparation for HSK Chinese Exams.
o English Connection (2020-2021): Responsible for the improvement and learning of 51 students (4 groups and tutoring) which 6 of them obtained the Cambridge Advanced English Certificate (CAE).
o Dragons Teaching (2020): Added cultural and musical aspects making students become engaged and excited about Spain.
o Chazon Children’s Centre (Orphanage) (05.2016 - 10.2016) English teacher in the town of Molo, Kenya.
o Private English Tutor – Self-employed (09.2011 - 3.2016): Key achievement: 100% pass rate of students who presented to KET, PET and FCE exams.

On a more personal note, I love football, Bollywood films, series, reading from different authors and cultures (I am very much into the Middle East and Asia) and especially learning from my students too! Obrigado!
