About Nicola Matteo
Always passionate about everything related to linguistics, brilliant student of Latin and Greek in high school, I then graduated in Classics at the University of Milan with a thesis in Glottology and at the same time I started helping many high school students in the subjects of Latin, Greek and Italian grammar, creating a personal method and obtaining excellent results.

The lesson usually takes place on the basis of homework assigned at school or in any case on the basis of a school exercise book. The student is pushed to explain his own method, after which he is guided to the solution of the exercises by systematically recovering the notions he can remember (ongoing recovery with specific and targeted exercises) and possibly integrating the missing knowledge. In the translation, we focus on grammar analysis and correct use of dictionary, treating the text as a 'case' to be solved, with making use of different types of 'clues' with different reliability levels (grammar clues, analysis and vocabulary). The course includes both the performance of the assigned tasks and any ad hoc exercises and studies. The lessons are aimed at high school students who have difficulty in Latin, Greek and Italian grammar, or at university students who have to pass the exam of Latin literature.
