About Pauline

I am a recent law school graduate from Belgium undertaking a postgraduate in history of art at the University of Oxford.
I have lived in 4 countries over my life which has enabled me to develop open-mindedness and curiosity towards different cultures and history!
I am fluent in French and English and greatly enjoy teaching languages along with other subjects such as history, politics, and religion.

About the lesson

My technique and methodology is student-centered based approach taking into consideration the pupil's knowledge and needs. A typical length of the lesson would be between 1-2 hours, which varies on the pupil based on a constructivist approach. My experience as a tutor was concentrated on children ages 8 to 13 and approached subjects such as maths, French language and literature, English language and literature, and history. I can teach children between the ages of 8 and 13 on all subjects, with a specialization in French and English literature. I believe in the Montessori method of education as well as a student-personalized curriculum to develop must efficiently the skills and knowledge desired.
