About Asha
I am completing my third year of law school at the University of Ottawa where I am in the top 10% of my class. I secured the highest score in public and constitutional law and I have a published book coming out with one of my professors. I obtained my undergraduate degree from UBC with a 3.8/4. I have worked for the City of Vancouver, the Department of Justice, and for Senator Kim Pate. My passion is to help students with their learning needs while making them stronger scholars. I have immense writing experience and I love teaching my students different styles of writing to help them become more critical, persuasive, and polished writers. I use a variety of techniques to keep students interested while also maintaining high standards of excellence. I also love working with parents and ensuring they are on board with my teaching plans. For me, the goal is to ensure the success of my students and to ensure that I facilitate an environment where that can happen.

I use a constructivist approach to learning that fits your learning needs. I come with 2 years of professional tutoring experience and I know how to work with people of all ages using a tailored approach. I have a range of experience from teaching a class of 10 people to working one-on-one with students. I have successfully assisted many students in securing high ACT, SSAT, SAT, and IELTS marks. I have great writing, reading, and analytic skills that place me in the top 10% of my law school. I use a friendly approach but I set high expectations and help students meet these expectations. I use a collaborative approach that reflects your learning needs.
