My approach to tutoring is to maximise engagement, primarily focusing on active rather than passive methods of learning. I use interactive whiteboards, a tool that enables my students to write and complete tasks set, such as warm-up quizzes. I also set homework and I actively interact with my students, answering any questions they may have. My approach is specific to your needs. For instance, with teaching grammar, I will use passages and go carefully through them and explain anything that my students are struggling to understand. I am also available outside of contact hours to help if needed, for example if you have a question that is urgent before a test you have in your class, I am more than happy to help.
