About Avni

I know what you might be thinking — she's only 17, can she really teach my child? Here's why the answer is yes.

I'm joining Manipal University for engineering — one of India's most respected technical universities — which means my fundamentals are solid and exam-tested.

But more than my scores, what makes me reliable is this: I take teaching seriously. I come to every session prepared with a clear plan, I share notes after every class, and I always follow up if a student didn't understand something. I don't cancel last minute, I don't rush through topics, and I never make a child feel embarrassed for asking a question twice.

I've grown up explaining things to younger cousins and friends — people have always told me I have a natural way of breaking things down simply. That's not something every tutor has, regardless of age or qualification.
I'm also at a stage in life where I genuinely enjoy this. I'm not burnt out, I'm not distracted by a full-time job — I show up focused, energetic, and happy to be there.

About the lesson

My teaching style is simple — I explain first, textbook second. Before I show a formula or definition, I make sure the concept makes sense in real life. For a grade 6 student, that might mean explaining gravity through a cricket ball before we open the chapter.

A typical class looks like this:
A quick 5-minute recap of last time, then we tackle the new topic together with examples, followed by a few practice questions the student solves while I guide them. I always leave 5 minutes at the end for doubts — no question is too small.

What makes my classes different:
I just finished Class 12 myself, so I remember every chapter that felt confusing and exactly where students get stuck. I'm patient, I never make a child feel bad for not understanding, and I explain the same thing three different ways if needed.
Who my classes are for:

School students in grades 5–7 — whether they're falling behind, want to stay ahead, or just need someone to make homework feel less overwhelming. I'm especially good with kids who feel shy asking questions in school, because my sessions are just us — relaxed, no pressure, no judgment.
The goal isn't just to finish the syllabus. It's to make your child actually enjoy the subject
