About SERZHAN
I have a PhD degree in Chemistry. During the 5 years of the graduate school, I have taught several classes as a laboratory assistant and teaching assistant leaching to small groups of students (10-20 students), freshmen to seniors, and lectured big classes (50-100 students) substituting professors. Classes I taught are following: Macriscopic Principles of Physical Chemistry, Mathematical Methods in Chemistry, Advanced Physical Chemistry, Laboratory for Molecular Spectroscopy and Dynamics, Laboratory I:Introduction to Chemical Analysis, Introduction to Chemistry I. All my students have graduated from college and some have obtained an interest in Physical Chemistry and performed some research during their Junior/Senior year.

My students are college students who already are smart and can eventually understand themselves. The only need to get some additional information/knowledge and a little nudge and then they get it all.
The way I approach teaching is to set a goal for each student to understand each topic by themselves. Hence I set up each lesson such that students ask questions which they manage to answer themselves. I direct their attention/ questions toward the correct answer, but they go through the search themselves. Throughout my long academic experience I ended up understanding that only you can get each topic, and no one can give the knowledge to you, only help, only guide.
