About Nella

With over 4 years of experience and a Master of Education in French Immersion Pedagogy specialising in linguistics, I focus on teaching adult learners practical French. My approach is goal-oriented, tailoring each session to meet specific needs in travel, business, and relocation. I use role-play and case studies to create real-life scenarios, making learning both effective and engaging. Industry-specific vocabulary is an important part of my lessons, especially for professionals in hospitality, healthcare, and diplomacy. This helps students communicate confidently in their work environments. I customise every lesson to fit the unique goals and schedules of my students. Whether preparing for a business meeting or navigating daily life abroad, I make sure learners are ready. My sessions balance speaking, listening, and cultural understanding to build well-rounded skills. I believe that language learning should be practical and relevant. With patience and clear guidance, I help students progress steadily. My goal is to empower learners to master French that works for them in the real world. Together, we focus on success beyond the classroom. Mastering practical French opens doors to new opportunities and experiences. I’m here to support you on that journey.

About the lesson

My teaching approach to French is friendly and fun, making learning easy and enjoyable. I use games, songs, storytelling, and humour to help students remember new words and grammar. This makes lessons lively and keeps motivation high. For conversational learners, I focus on practical speaking skills that build confidence in everyday situations. Immigrants and newcomers get extra support to adapt quickly by learning useful phrases and cultural tips. I believe language should be natural, so I encourage speaking from the very first lesson. Listening and understanding are also important parts of my teaching. Together, we work on reading, writing, and pronunciation in a balanced way. I adjust lessons to fit each student’s goals and pace. Patience and practice are key, and I’m here to guide every step of the way. I help students not just learn French but also enjoy the journey. With support and encouragement, they grow stronger and more confident. My goal is to make sure every learner succeeds and feels proud of their progress. Learning French can be fun and rewarding, and I’m here to help make that happen.
