About Ryan

I love helping students achieve their musical goals by making learning simple, engaging, and rewarding. My approach combines structured concepts and practical exercises to help students develop their technique, creativity, confidence, and overall musicianship. Lessons are performance-focused, with an emphasis on learning songs, applying concepts, and building skills that translate to playing with other musicians. My studio has access to two drum kits and recording equipment, creating opportunities for students to play together, record their progress, and develop as musicians.

About the lesson

I’m a drummer and music educator with a Bachelor of Music degree from Humber College. I have over 15 years of drumming experience and 6 years of teaching experience.

I offer private drum lessons for beginners and intermediate players, focusing on building strong fundamentals, developing technique, learning songs, and exploring different musical styles. My lessons are personalized to each student's interests and goals, creating a fun and encouraging environment to learn and grow as a musician.

Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve your skills, I'd love to help you on your drumming journey!

Feel free to reach out for more information or to book a lesson.

Ryan's been teaching my son Trevor for over a year. He's great with him and keeps things fun but also manages to get him to focus and learn. He's learnt so much over the year and he's always excited to go to his weekly lesson!
