About Alexander

I am a Sixth year pupil who has studied French for over 9 years and has taken it throughout school as well as tutoring a number of pupils both in person and online in the last 2 years I have been on a number of skiing trips and exchanges to different areas of France and have a good understanding of French culture and conversational language.

About the lesson

My teaching method revolves around verbal communication as this helps greatly with accent and diction in a different language. We will always begin with some conversation to get the thinking juices flowing and move on to grammar and comprehension-based activities as the lesson progresses. I am however very flexible and have taught through a number of different methods catered towards pupils at different ages and levels of ability. I always listen to pupils and give time at the end of the lesson for feedback on teaching which I try to incorporate in future lessons.
